Vaccinating your cat

Vaccinations will protect your cat from diseases caused by viruses and bacteria and can also strengthen their immune system.  Speak with your veterinarian about which vaccinations should be administered and when boosters are required.

Some vaccines are recommended for all cats including Rabies, Feline Distemper, Feline calicivirus; Feline viral rhinotracheitis. If your cat spends a lot of time outdoors, or around other cats, and if there are known diseases common to your geographic area, your veterinarian may suggest additional non-core vaccines for your cat including Feline leukemia; Bordetella (if your cat goes to a groomer or stays at a kennel)
